M.C. Fire has a great team of twenty one people working hand in hand in striving for the safe protection of the public.
Hennie van Rooyen founded M.C. Fire and Security Technologies in February 2008. In preparation for starting his own business, he worked for Integrated Fire & Security for seven years.
He then moved on to T.O.A. Electronic Southern Africa where he worked from 2004 to 2008.
During these years he acquired the much needed experience in order to establish a business in the very competitive industry of security systems.
Hennie obtained training in the design and installation of fire detection and gas extinguishing systems through FDIA – Fire Detection Installers Association. He is also trained in system design and voice evacuation for PA systems, according to both locally and international standards. Part of his training was done in Berlin Germany and Vienna Austria.
With his team they have applied knowledge and skills successfully at the Ford motor company in Silverton Pretoria and in Port Elizabeth.
On the job training is given to staff of M.C. Fire.
Qualified electricians and projects managers forms part of the experienced M.C. Fire team. The team has worked in close teams with numerous contractors on a great number of projects on different sites which include the following projects:
- Ford Motor Company in Silverton and Port Elizabeth (Evacuation systems)
- PRASA Railway (Evacuation, PA, CCTV and access control systems)
- Telkom Towers (Fire and Evacuation)
- World Cup Soccer 2010 Ellis Park and Soccer city (CCTV and Evacuation)
